Highlights March-April

After a long winter break, it was finally time to start the outdoor season!

With 7 horses and two trucks, Morssinkhof Stables left off to Gorla Minore, Italy, for 2 weeks. 

Overall it was a great show, with many placings for both Simon as Viktor.

Simon gained new ranking points with a respected 8th and 6th place in the 145 classes, jumping Vivolta de Gree and Perigrosso.

His new asset in the stable, 11yr old mare Daloa (Lupicor x Solitair) jumped many clear rounds in the 140 classes.

With 8yr old Cantate Z (Carosso VDL x Pythagoras Z) Simon won twice a 135 class.

7yr old Harola HK (Carrera VDL x Ramiro Z) did a great job with clear rounds and placings in the young horse classes.

The youngest member of the team, Viktor, won twice and was placed 2nd several times with his horses Bubsylon and Care for Love.

After enjoying Italy, Simon was prepared for his first YR Nationscup on home ground in Sentowerpark.

With Perigrosso under the saddle, Simon and his teammates (Maartje Verberckmoes, Dieter Vermeiren & Gilles Thomas), did a great job bringing home the gold medal. 

With his second horse Daloa he won the YR 145 class on Saturday, overall, a great weekend!

This weekend will be very busy since the team will be competing at 3 different competitions. 

Simon will be competing at CSI*** Lanaken (Z-tour) with Perigrosso, Daloa and Harola HK - Viktor will be jumping at CSIJ Lier with Bubsylon, Care for Love & Cantate - Mauro will be bringing his young horses to CSI** Sentower including Catoki's Cornet, Langobardo, Emilia HH Z, New Star van 't Kattenheye & Dynamite Z.
